New Chase Instacart MasterCard in 2022

Introduction

Chase just announced that they will be offering a new credit card. Let’s get into talking about the newest credit card offered from chase. Chase has teamed up with Instacart and Mastercard to offer a new credit card. We don’t know a ton of details about that card right now but I’ll go over everything that we know so far.

So the new Instacart Mastercard credit card will be the first chase co-branded card offering in the on-demand grocery delivery space. CEO for Instacart said with the new instacart credit card will be able to deliver even more ways for customers to save as they shop and making cigar. The most affordable way for people across North America to get the food that they want from the retailers.

How it compares to Chase Sapphire Card

They love delivered faster than ever before so it’s no surprise that online grocery shopping has become way more popular than used to be. So I think that this credit card makes a lot of sense. Chase sapphire preferred card currently offers 3x points back when you are using that card for online grocery store shopping.  So I assume that this instacart credit card will be at least competitive with that offer.

This new credit card is going to actually expand the current relationship that chase has with Instacart. Because they do already have a relationship so since June 2020 the companies have worked together to provide limited time instacart offers and savings to existing chase card members. Instacart is currently offering eligible chase card members a free instacart express membership and $10 off their next order of $35 or more through April 30th 2022.

So if you already have a relationship with chase if you have one of their credit cards you potentially already have this offer. You have the opportunity to get that free into the card membership and also get that $10 off of that order of $35 or more and that instacart express membership is pretty valuable if you shop with instacart. It’s going to provide unlimited free deliveries and reduced service fees on all of your orders of $35 or more. An awesome key benefit is this new instacart match card is going to be a world elite Mastercard which comes with a wide variety of pretty awesome benefits and that is currently all we know so far.

Is this New card has any Annual Fee

We don’t know if there’s going to be any annual fee we don’t know what the reward categories are going to be. If I have to guess I would say it’s going to be a no annual fee card and it’s going to offer something in the 3% to 5% cashback range since we already talked about it earlier. We know that the chase sapphire pro card already offers 3x back in your points for online grocery store shopping.

So this card is definitely going to need to be competitive to that because your points are typically better than cash back. If this card is going to only end up offering something like 3% cash back I’m not sure how much sense that would make but I don’t want to make too many assumptions. That is all that we know for now and I just wanted to make sure that you guys got that information quickly.

As the online shopping dips in 2022 and slowly people move into in-store shopping, this may not be a great value for everyone.
